Moving Forward
A1 Supaskips (think pink!) have introduced a new air conditioned, covered enclosure for the picking lines inside their plant at Lune Industrial Estate. The welfare of the staff is a major priority and concern for the company. With the new enclosures around the picking lines, not only has the company produced a much cleaner working environment for their employees, they have also greatly reduced the noise levels as well.
"Obviously working with waste is never going to be the nicest job in the world, but the company has taken every step possible to make the working environment inside the plant as good as it can be. The company is still looking at ways and new methods to increase its recycling rates, which already average an amazing 84% of all waste that enters the plant.
