Site Waste Management Plans

To help tackle the issue of site waste, Defra has introduced Site Waste Management Plans (SWMPs). These are now a legal requirement in England for construction projects begun after 6 April 2008, worth over £300,000
A1 Supaskips (think pink!) are able to offer an effective solution to the construction industry and are ideally positioned to help its customers implement an effective Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) on any of their sites meeting the legal criteria.
Here at A1 Supaskips (think pink!) we have put together a simplified version of the document that meets all the legal requirements of the current legislation. The document has been checked by Envirowise and meets all the critria set down in the current legislation.
We are able to offer our customers a free full on site evaluation of their present waste profile and help them implement an effective waste solution. With a little help from you, and by using our knowledge and expertise, A1 Supaskips (think pink!) are able to produce and supply you with a full Site Waste Management Plan, and provide monthly reports of all the waste leaving site.

Enforcement and Penalties
The Environment Agency or Local Council Enforcement officers will enforce the new regulations. Any person found guilty of an offence will be liable on summary conviction to a fine note exceeding £50k. Further more a company or person may also be issued with a fixed penalty notice of £300 if they are unable to produce the Site Waste Management Plan when asked to do so.
