Moving Forward

A1 Supaskips (think pink!) have introduced a new air conditioned, covered enclosure for the picking lines inside their plant at Lune Industrial Estate. The welfare of the staff is a major priority and concern for the company. With the new enclosures around the picking lines, not only has the company produced a much cleaner working environment for their employees, they have also greatly reduced the noise levels as well.

"Obviously working with waste is never going to be the nicest job in the world, but the company has taken every step possible to make the working environment inside the plant as good as it can be. The company is still looking at ways and new methods to increase its recycling rates, which already average an amazing 84% of all waste that enters the plant. It is hoped that this figure can be increased to over 90% by the end of 2009 "Bill Whitbread, Commercial Manager

Supaskips (think pink!) buy Eurowaste!

Breaking News!

Yesterday 1st July 2008, A1Supaskips (think pink!) acquired Eurowaste to strengthen their position in the market and guarantee the future stability and success of the company, making it one of the largest skip and waste recyclers in the North West.

The acquisition of Eurowaste adds another 3 wagons and 400 skips together with Eurowaste’s  extended customer base.

Mr Mel Welsh Director of  A1Supaskips (think pink!)  said

that the purchase of Eurowaste was a logical progression for Supaskips. Our state of the art recycling plant in Lancaster, through heavy investment, has made it hard for the smaller companies to achieve the recycling figures currently achieved by A1Supaskips (think pink!) and to remain cost effective in today’s environmentally conscious society.’
